Corsa B Blue More Door

New sump came this morning.




Didn't realise it came with a gasket so I have a spare now.




Got my magnetic sump plug screwed on.




Is there any particular difference or benefit of using either a cork type gasket or a papery card type gasket?

Haven't updated in a while!

Got the sump changed. So obviously new oil and filter got changed too along with a magnetic sump plug.






Got hold of some brand new Irmscher Gamma wheels for a good price


























New steering wheel. Very rare, found it in a rotting old Astra in a corner of a scrap yard.






Gave it the baby wipe treatment and it looks as good as new No damage, wear or marks on it at all. Very happy.








Got some Irmscher centre caps for the wheels.








Also got new top mounts and front strut bearings for when the suspension gets fitted.










Got hold of some Spax Krypton rear shocks to match the fronts.

Before it had settled it looked crap lol.

Front is really really stiff so need to adjust the damping on them, the rears are nice and soft though.

Car doesn't seem as low as when I used to have it lowered 40mm so I may look into getting some 60mm springs. I'll see how I feel in a week or two.

Passed the MOT today. Passed first time since I've owned it, that's 3 years in a row now
