UPDATES
• Insurance – this month has got me forking out next year’s renewal. Thought I would dread it, but it didn’t turn out bad at all. £380 for next year doesn't seem bad at all I think. Only thing is I think I should have protected my NCB now too!
• New sub woofers – just popped in to see the guy at the bass shop I go to, as hes a good friend of mines. He recommended me to change the subs to JL audio and he said you will notice the difference. And I did. Quite weird that as well! But I got that done this month as a sort of Christmas present for my car. (will get pictures of it soon!)
• I have fitted my new headlights. Cost me £140 for the pair which was a lot cheaper than what I got quoted for original headlights! I know on eBay I can get the OEM headlights cheaper then £140 but I thought I’d splash out on myself. Let me know what you think! I love it! It really upgrades the looks. Just need to get some ice white halos in there now.
TO BE FIXED
• Broken front splitter
Bought the splitter (hopefully it’s the right one). I just need to get into the garage when I can.
• New front driver side wiper blade (maybe) – only very little sounds coming from the driver side wiper, but because it’s repetitive, it’s driving me nuts. Will replace in the future if need be but I am aware of it now.
• Detail bodywork – some panels on the car really need looking at. Had some more thought on it and I think it’s best to get it back to original detail.
• Back door handle stiffness problem (both) – my back doors never get used much. Should have got a two seater every time I think about it, but it happens to be a little bit stiff to open from the outside. Will need to look into that in the future.
• Navi screen needs replacing at some point, otherwise working all well. Did get some heads up about this from the electrician that does my electrics. He said there are places out there that can repair it instead of having to replace it all.
oh and just to add!

Looks good Sal. As Chris said, got myself a Astra just before Christmas. Got an 05 SRI but 3dr in lightening silver. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I had the same problem with sticky door handles, i just held it open and sprayed wd40 inside the mech and latch. Seems to have fixed it for me

It depends on the look of the car.. In this case, with his grill.. It matches which is nice.. So maybe I might do the same.. Main thing is the shape though!
