if it did that you'll always be having the wheels re-balanced every week wont you??GhostWKD wrote: Surely the tyre always moves on the rim anyway from my experience?
Put a mark on tyre and rim then drive the car for a week or whatever, and the marks probably wont line up etc

Not a clue to be honest, although quick search shows its common for drag cars etc and caused by low tyre pressures meaning the beads not gripping quite how it should.
Remembered it being common, but was probably in context of my group of mates at the drag strip or something

if its a wheel bearing it would be schreaming its tits off, mechanically it could be anything from said wheel bearing to shagged bushes, my guess AND THE TWO MOST COMMON CAUSES ARE EITHER THE WHEELS NEED BALANCING OR YOUR TYRES ARE OUT OF SHAPE AKA WARPED TO FCUK... who started this thread? and why hasnt he replyed yet? oh yer last cause is your rims buckled to fcuk and that means new wheels... just to clear the tyre moving on the rim thing for ghost, simple answer NO <!-- s:-D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt="
