Welcome along mate, & what a awesome car, yes it hasnt got the biggest bhp, as this car isn't about that, who needs to do 100mph every where or beat ever car from the lights when you can get the back end out at 30mph
& as you said its a nice perfectly 50:50 balanced car thats about the enjoyment of driving.
We dont all need to be doing 130 every where Lloyd
As for getting a map, you would only get 10-20bhp out of a NA engine, but if you can get a Turbo/supercharge on it & getting 300+ bhp then awesome, that will be a epic car.
Enjoy.

Thanks again all and thanks for the heads up on co-ordasport and their GT86 parts....quite a list there.
I met some of the Fensport guys at this years Autosport show over at the NEC with their stripped out GT86, they're currently looking at fitting an AVO Turbo to theirs I believe. They've also picked up another GT86 in black as their street car where they'll do it up, stick on an 5AXIS body kit and alloys amongst other things, should be very interesting to see and test out:
@sonicvanman - at the moment, I only want a couple more horses, just up the mid range a bit, the torque curve on the FA20 engine is really flat, starts quite low down and continues all the way to just over 7000 rpm, however, there is actually a slight dip in the middle, which is due to the design of the engine and the manifold I believe (I could be mistaken) but I just want to raise it a lil really.
At the moment, I'm actually in the process of fitting a reversing camera to the stock head unit (for some stupid reason, Toyota UK refuses to offer a reversing camera, even though it shares the same head unit as a couple of the other models (e.g. my fathers RAV4 has the exact same head unit with reversing camera). I believe the main reason is that the rear boot lip is too shallow which is balls as other countries are offering the reversing camera and it is possible to fit one (would require cutting a slot for the camera to pop out of though). The UK dealerships offer reverse parking sensors but they look pants, they stick out and don't always colour match correctly (so sadly no factory fitted flush ones like most other manufactures). I've got a custom harness for it but now need to find a suitable 12v source to splice into to power the camera, fix the camera in position and then thread the leads from the head to the boot. Wish me luck <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="

Mate that looks sick, ye i can understand a map would help smooth things out but i got my car mapped first & wished i'd dont the other mods first as im now having to get another map after im done.
But 200bhp should keep you happy for a while, i could push 220bhp but if i want more i need a hybrid turbo but nit sure if i can stump up 1.5k
