2ltr redtop??? was created by richie

Ive had a thought instead of getting a new car after this why dont i save the money and get a 2ltr redtop engine conversion any know how on cost and where i could get it fitted i think £1000 should be enough

yeah mate 1000 shud be enough but do you really want a redtop?? they break far too easily and they aint cheap 2 rebuild

i think bally at S&R in leam seems to do engine conversions,or could do a driveway jobbie??dont think redtop conversions are too bad,seems to be lots around

the 2.5's do go in but its a shedload more work, ther not bad conversions but they dont last granted a redtop corsa is fast as but for how long?

personally i say do it red top conversions are great but i would suggest fitting it to a standard corsa (or nova) for that sleeper effect

as long as u make everything else as strong as the lump then it shud be ok, try n get hold of one of the motorsport prepared engines as they tend to be a million times better not just 4 power but 4 longer life
