ENGINE LIGHT IS ON ( HELP )!!!!!!!!!! was created by pudnoka

I HAVE CORSA SRI 1.4. 16 VALVE 1995 AND MY ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON & THEN GOES OFF & THEN BACK ON SO I TOOK IT THE GARAGE WHERE THEY PUT IT ON THE COMPUTER AND IT CAME UP WITH ([color=#FF0000:2ronrxdm]IDLE CONTROL VALVE ) SO I HAD A NEW ONE PUT BUT ITS STILL THE SAME PLUS IVE CLEANED MY EGR VALVE ASWELL BUT THE LIGHT STILL COMES ON

WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE ???????[/color:2ronrxdm]

Engine Management??

Is it MisFiring etc

I kno the coil Packs on Vauxhals are a nightmare and this Courses the Engine Management Ligt to come on
But yea its sumit to do with EngineManagement.. There is a Engine ECU on Vauxhalls aswell..

na its running fine i mean i took sum kid 4 a spin last at shirley and he said the same thing does splutter at all and the answer is NO but its just so annoyin cuz its cums on & then goes off

could be the afm but that would normally cause dodgey idling.

what about the lamba sensor?

it does seem to stick at certain rev like im slowing down but my rev counter is still at like 3 thousend revs and wen i actualy stop it a like 2 or 3 seconds b4 it drops down to normal

yeahh... myns crap!! lol
my engine management lights been on for ageeessssss!!
when my crank shaft sensor went it reved itself and when i was drivin it would totally cut out an ould be a bumma to start again
