Milltek exhausts was created by dr_hillmann
for 2002- fiesta duratec 1.4
i fancy getting a cat back system, was considering the decat (or cat replacement pie as they call it) as well...
as per [url:32gumu5v]http://www.amdessex.com/product.details.cfm?ProductID=2211&VariantID=432&ReferenceID=11084[/url:32gumu5v]

but do you need to have the milltek manifold fitted in order to use the decat??

also, any comments on milltek quality/anyone got any of their stuff??

cheers

I might get a rover tuner to tune my gt40 turbo on my left testicle to run 400000 bhp lol

you'd prolly see more benefits from the decat if you did the manifold aswell.

milltek are a big name in the ford scene at the min your probly best ringing miltek themselves and asking them...]

if your exaust is o.e your cat, down pipe and manifold should be in seperate pieces so you might be able to buy just a de-cat pipe but i dont see the point personally if your not looking at putting a 4-2-1 on
if all your after is a nice exaust tone i would sugest just getting a cat back ;)

i cba with getting the manif and decat now. cos it means having to take it off for the mot and stuff, and i just dont have the time or space for doin that this year

so just gonna get the cat back fitted. will be booking it in just after new year i think
just under 300 for the catback fitted is pretty good tbh. dont think i'd find a better deal anywhere else

Service it yourself, keep the receipts etc and put it where the tamp usually goes, then they know what you have used for the service :)

I paid 36 quid for my decat pipe, so not an awful lot more money, the exhaust will mkaea nicer noise, the de-cat though will get more of a scream and a lower end power increase though

my cat is in the manfifold, so its not really a swap on swap off to put the standard one back on... considering you HAVE to have the sports manif to use the decat...

Ah right, not up to date with the newer cars lol. Cat back sounds the best option, then save up after coilies and a service
