Cripes!
I stand corrected!
Dr Hillmann: Yes, the 60A fuse will be peak power. So if that supply can give enough power and the right ampage then it's win win.
I'm not sure if I'd be happy running 60A down those tiny wires though, how've you got round that kingie? Or is it still on your "temp" setup you mentioned earlier?

Still only a temp setup but could un-solder all the wires and solder a big fat 12 Gage wire from where all the yellow/Orange wires come from then do the same for the earth!!

you sorted it yet? Im trained sparky if you cant figure summat out lol btw 240v (230v) when transformed to 12v means theres more than enough amps to go round if there needed it can be 20xs more amps then a 32a/64a rcd so run it off a 12v dc transformer. if your using full power alot then use bigger cables as volt drop will kill the power goin to the sub and just to help with any further car voltage qs its all 12 volt apart from your ht leads you can touch them to find out that one

voltage isnt the issue though is it.
need more current. which is what a car battery produced, and mains doesnt
havent done anything with it. its just sat in my room atm btw

yea but youve got the current if your voltage drops in a transformer you will have more current thats why electric fences wont kill you there 50,000volts but only run less then 0.01amp as ur downing the v's ur uping the a's lol it will work but use the same cable you would in a car as if u are using that many amps it will get hot you just want any 230v (240v) - 12v will work

V=IR etc , and im rather good at physics
lol
dont wanna feed too much current to the amp... and need to make some kind of plug adapter as well
might be easier to just get a cheapo car battery! and have it on that!
