i took it out the box for closer inspection. its not moving either. didd a look arround on google and sounds like the Voice coil is gone
been down halfords and got a new1 now

cos i could only afford this , its newer than the one i had that broke, so not as likely to break. and anything more powerfull would be underpowerd by the amp anyway
