Help with refurbing wheels was created by ashleysmith
Thought I'd start refurbing today... Seems as it's a bank holiday and other than being a bit cloudy is a nice day,
After an hour of sanding my hands and only a bit of the wheel, have decided that there must be an easier way?
Has anyone got any tips to help or tooling that I can buy/borrow for a couple of days just to get this done? Can pick up locally
cheers

(I know there are companies who do this cheap but would like to do it myself first time round)

Use the right grade sandpaper if ur tryin to get rid of chunks outta ur alloy then smooth the edges flat and the trick is to use chemical metal instead of normal filler as its stronger!! Fill the chip in ur alloy then wiv some cling film place it over the chemical metal and smooth to the shape of the wheel!!! If ur jus flattin it down to repaint then get sone scotchbrite and sugar soap!!! As long as the wheel is all dull n not shiny ul be ready to paint!!!!!

If its paint, then use nitromors if its powdercoated already it'll be more of a pain
