104bhp from those mods, that's almost unbelievable!
I'd say that you're getting to the limits of what cheap mods can do and of course the limits of the engine itself. How about changing the cams, timing and a remap?

And of course you could bolt a small turbo on... then you'd need a modified manifold and injector setup.
Ah feck it, just replace the inlet manifold with throttle bodies!!

drop a 1.7 puma lump in and build on that its 128 bhp as standard and easy to tune to 150 with FRP parts

and the rest! forged pistons con rods, lower the compression ratio, tap an oil feed from the sump after market ecu etc lots of work
yer puma conversion or as perkins said sell up and buy a faster car
