Can you give some suggestions in what instances a member would like to lock their own topic? To justify adding the option thats all, and why it cant be left to the moderators? As they can decide then whether its worth locking it

i was thinking if uve got sumthing for sale and uve sold it the topic starter can lock it themselves instead of waiting for mods to lock

Good enough reason, well for the time being the option to lock your own topics will be added to the marketplace alone

Needs more to justify it for the whole forum

Yeah a for sale topic is easily decided, if its been sold... it gets locked. Everything else depends on a lot of things, we dont want trigger happy members locking loads of topics
