Thought i'd post my build thread on here see what you all think, it is lifted from another forum so apologies if it doesnt flow very well.

Hi all,

This is my first time every posting or actually doing anything on a forum of any kind (so dont be too mean please ha)

My car history is pretty short, I rushed to pass my test asap after turning 17 and a few months later brought a Mk2 Fiat Punto( dont have any pics because hard drive crashed) which I modded on little money during sixth form, wheels, upgraded sounds inc headunit,speakers 2 mahossive subs. just basic stuff really.

After finishing school got a job so started saving for a new car however i was then told "my services were no longer required" which blew that plan out the water, due to uneployment lasting lot longer than I hoped I had to sell up.However every cloud and all I got a new postion with better pay so started saving like mad and got my first dub after 10 months with no car i almost wet myself with excitment to be behind the wheel!, so enough with my boring chat here it is as i brought it:
So it come with, black alloys off a Seat FR i think, H&R lowering springs(unknown drop), V6 valence and basic headunit upgrade.

First thing i did was put aero wipers on front and rear, after having them on the punto i know how much better they are! New floor mats as it didnt have any and a Magic Tree to get it fresh!







had a bit of time after work today so i thought I'd de-badge the boot, so got out the heat gun, ice scraper and some polish and got to work. Didn't take long at all using the heat gun instead of a hairdrier, and only got burnt once on the hot plastic ha.

a closer one of the rear badge, carbon vinyl behind I did this when i debadged but forgot to take any pics, imo 100x better than naff grey plastic

Have had a debadged grill and bonnet bra sat in the garage, brought these 2 days after got car just wanted to paint grill to match before fitting

again with the paint, repainted my mirror from grey to black, looks much more discrete

and brakes

Got these fitted finally and will post pictures tomorrow after work.

also used some more farbon cibre vinyl bits and wrapped the centre console and fitted my new JVC headunit so I can listen to some banging CHUNEEEESSS! ha

Fitted my "new" wheels today, got them second hand with tyres for a steal, could definatly do with a refurb but not going to have time before Inters so just going to see what I can do.. Downside if that the extended bolts I ordered where the wrong size so spacers are sat in the garage until I can sort that out.

So how it looks atm, defo need to get rear spacers sorted asap.

However then took it on holiday to Devon last month, all the love came rushing back! so have been doing a few bits and trying to plan more for over christmas.

And with all this rain have taken bonnet bra off and swapped back to standard grill to avoid any paint damage, will go back on when weather brightens up ha

and after driving to Stratford and back 2 of the letters of my sticker had flown off leaving it saying "Dail river" so that was taken off, I was sent another to replace it so thatll be going on when I remember.
Also fitted front and rear spacers.

looking at 18s for more stance, US rubstrip and maybe a black roof, just goint to wait till after xmas i think

The cars been sat on the Seat winters now feeling sorry for its self and as the weather was alright today thought id finally get my arse in gear and at least start prep for the show season!
First was to swap the OEM rear badge for a smaller sharan sized badge:



I also started work on the wheels for the new year, however no pics as there staying under wraps until Fast Show haha
