Smooth and slammed C2 GT was created by richie
Cant find my old project log but is irrelevant now as to be honest so much has changed so heres the fresh makeover as of 2012
So as a reminder this was what it was like May 2011
So with the car being red the following happened first being exhaust
Then Coilovers
Then wheels went black
KN filter shortly followed
Then i got hold of some 2pc Rial F1 split rims
Then had a bit of colour coding done
Smoothed bootlid aswell
Better one on the side
Added this bumper tried a different approach rather than copying the norm ( soon got different nicknames)
Added touch
This is where some members last saw the C2 at the silverline open day as mentioned it wasnt finished so soon after more orderign was done
Ordered New OMP Strada seats with 4 point race harnesses
]
Rear diffuser was added
Tinted rear windows soon followed
Next job was to get some better quality audio so i opted for 2 12" Hertz HX300D subwoofers
Then one of the big projects was to get the car to drop lower i was bottomed out on the coilovers so i went for Air Ride
Had a trip to Havair in Hastings and was orginally going for a manual set up but soon ended up going for electronic with bigger valves copper lines bigger 5 gallon tank and the most powerful compressor for air suspension. so whilst the struts where being made i took home the tank and compressor to start my install around it
Air zenith compressor
5 gallon Air Tank 34" long 7" wide with 7 ports
Air Ride install
Whilst the car was gone getting the suspension done i got hold of another dash to go for a complete smoothed dash
3 weeks later the car was done
But something didnt look right so once again i found it going back to get more bodywork done
Some pictures in the body shop
6 weeks later i finally got it back the floowing had been done
- New front bumper
- Smoothed off bump strips
- Smoothed door handles
- Smoothed of aerial
- Smoothed of washer jets
- Smoothed of side repeaters
- Smoothed tow eye covers
- Smoothed out roof rails
- Black plastics sprayed Gloss Black
- Complete full respray in Ford Frozen White
The day after it came out
The following day i got my red wheels back on
I then found a number plate on the internet i just had to get so a week later it was on
Then the following weekend it had its first proper photoshoot
That was it picture after that its been touch and go like
Im in the process of putting in a full alacantara interior in and Audio but unfortunatly the car is back down at Havair repairing a bent front strut
When it comes back it will be back in the body shop and the following will be done
- Shortened rear number plate recess
- Vts side skirts
- Engine plastics sprayed
- Smoothed dash fitted
Then the interior can be finished off oh and new wheels to go on
Thats it for now i think ive bored you enough

I'm going to use one of the spare outlets for a external airline
The wheels are going they are up for sale now at the moment it's just on standard wheels so on the next update you will, see the new rims
Thanks for the positive comments as well
The seats I got for £530 including frames and harnesses

For pumping up tyres airbeds for camping etc lol
The wheels where white standard
Just need a fresh set of wheels to go with the new colour but I still like the idea of red wheels I'm going to get 16's wait wider and polished lips with red centers as my alacantara interior is red and black

Not going to lie, I hated it.
However, now it's white, and all pretty, I think it's possibly the best looking C2 I've ever seen!
Good work mate, and I look forward to seeing the new rims!
