Next step is to work out what material I want. Mexican blanket, or a gold on red pattern. I'll have a good think about it though.







Need a small line of rubber for the top to finish off the effect.

So work began. Front wheels got some new lower pro rubber (doesn't look so much in this picture, dirty wheels like), best way to tell is look at the difference in tyre wall between the front and rear wheels. Back ones needed some more chem metal treatment.



Tyres on, wohoo.



Arches off. Literally.



No more rubbing, extra room, new rear springs fitted for a third set. Doesn't (to me) look much lower, although it must be as you can see.. the rakes leveled out. Ah well, more to come.

Cheers all, was loosing mojo in it but its nice to hear some good feedback. Funny enough you guys love it more than on the actual 'rat' sites, this gets overlooked for cars with a monster can hanging off, rusted bonnet, hazzard tape and any other done to death 'rat' cliche out there. No bitter or anything, but true rats were rat rods, and I'd love to see them with a shedload of hazzard tape all over

And sam, one step ahead buddy, zoom back 2 years or so when rusted hoods were hardly ever done and BOOM
