Tints booked in for Monday and tax this month!

Got my tints done this afternoon. If im honest, at this stage im not happy with them. The OEM privacy glass is obviously a clean black all the way through. Due to the amount of 'spots' the windows had the guys at Protexfilms had to use a slightly different type of stickier film rather than the normal limo black. This to me doesnt appear as dark and so you can see the black outline.

You can clearly see the black outline of the window. Not what i wanted.



Going to keep them on for a week then takin them back to Protex so they can clear up any marks etc that may appear. After a week or so will see if im happy with them. Will either take them off and leave them off or try see if elsewhere can get them done the way i wanted. It may just be me and the fact it cant be done the way i want.

Next in line - splitter/lip sprayed or replaced, fix the headlight and then Tegiwa's Carbon Intake.

Ive emailed them, pisses me right off everytime i look at the car. I originally asked for the Limo black but they changed it to the other stuff to help it stick better. Read on many forums the dot matrix isnt a problem and the best can avoid the white marks appearing. They have appeared on mine already <!-- s:x --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_mad.gif" alt="" title="Mad" /><!-- s:x --> So i would have been better off with the cheap stuff anyway!
