Project Puma was created by MintyAero
Hi.

I have said the mods so far in the newbies section.

What i am aiming to do next.

Got M3 mirrors to go on
Stainless exhaust manifold/decat
Newman cams
Lighter front sports seats and further weight reduction.
Gonna make my own rear strut brace and maybe a front upper brace too.

The above, with mods so far, should see approx 140 bhp, as it stands, i can run the quarter in about 16.5 at just over 85mph but i have lightened it a bit now and the above mods should see a much better time at shakespere raceway in april .

Cheers.

Tim.

Thanks for that Andy.

Well, manifold and de-cat fitted, bit of a game but thanks to Ben and Steve at Emscote Motors, Warwick for keeping on with it, even though it was a pig to do

Manifold supplied with totally wrong bolts but they got round that.
Manifold would not mate up with my system(piper) but nothing that an angle grinder did'nt solve .
Then the front pipe section had to be shortened a bit.
Lambda sensor wires extended and very neatly put behind all the heat shields.
Heat shield from std manifold wont fit right, so i am going to get a high temp shield and mod to protect items near the manifold.

Was it worth it.............. .................oh yes!! pops and crackles a treat, bit tinny but does seem to pull a hell of a lot better, so now, estimated around 150bhp :P , bloomin feels like it

So, with the cost to get it and fit it, i am v happy.

Thanks again to Emscote motors in Warwick

Cheers.
Tim.
