how about a suzuki baleno gsr? reliable, faster than they look and if you know the right ppl very tuneable chain driven too so never needs a cambelt, expect to pay 1200 ish for a very good one too!

fiesta st are good, y nt clio sport or a integra? maybe even an old b16 civic? crx even?

have always loved fords, clio sports too much to insure lol. i can just about insure a st for under 2 k

if your looking for something big and economical and high spec and a bit sporty with the blue oval on it then what about a mk3 mondeo zetec s or st tdci? can be highly tuned or not so economical a focus st (about 04reg) in silver mate
