Heyy Everyone
I need a bit of help

I've currently got a Honda Civic CRX 1.6 (G Reg)
It's got 130ish BHP at the moment, but i'd like it to be a track day car, but's also good for the road... and cheep on insurance.

I was just wandering if anyone had any tips or ideas for it.
I'm re-spraying it Black, so that's all i know of it,
I'm also slinging on a set of these rims... http://www.teamdynamicsracing.com/pro-r ... 1black.htm
the one's i'm getting are going to have a dark blue strip around the outside of the rims, which will later compliment the blue shelby stripes =]

Anymore ideas, post them, please
thanks,
Matt =]

Well if you want it as a track car you want mods to the engine and lessen the weight. You want some light weight alloys for starters. Not sure what you want more ideas on, the look or prep for the track?

good set of springs/coil overs will be a nice start so it handles well

If it's going to be a track car, don't go above 15's realistically. Decent shocks and springs, don't lower it too muh though, don't set the shocks roack hard eiter, they needs a bit of spongyness. Lower the weight, cheap power right there, behind the door cards drill loads of holes, drill loads of holes anywhere u can, then all those circles you cut out see how much they weigh. Decent lightweight seats, and harnesses. A front lip spoiler can help a little, you wont need a rear spoiler. Polybush the whole of the suspension, it'll be stiffer and alot more responsive, fiddle with the cambers etc..

Bam

Metro POWER!
With the origano flavour!
IF YOU CAN M.O.T. IT, IT'S NOT LOW ENOUGH!
