If you are in serious need of a motor, i know someone who has a high mileage focus 1.8 diesel, for around the £600 mark.

If Pacman had affected us as kids we'd be running around in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music.

im not in serious need of a car, i can just keep running the car as i have for the last 2 months, only time it might bite me in the ass is MOT time. I really dont know what to do, whther to cut my losses and fork out alittle more for a just as nice car, something alittle 'showie', or get a cheap run around for now, or get a all rounder...mmm

Got any more details on the focus? Just curiuos :)

Yeah Im 50/50, think Im going to continue as if Im keeping it - was booked in for rear bumper monday - because even if I do sell it makes it look alot better, and just get on the search for another engine which Ive been told by another mechanic can possibly work out alot cheaper - maybe the Subaru specialists bumped the price because they didnt want to waste their time on my car <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->

Perkins wrote: Hey all,

I now have for sale my beloved Ford Focus 1.8 TDdi 5dr Zetec Hatchback in Ink Blue.

Reason for selling is that I have a new job and won't be using the focus as much, and as my insurance & tax have both just come up I don't see any point forking out for a car I'm not going to be using.

Don't let the mileage put you off, anyone who has seen the car will tell you it runs without flaw! Starts first time with absolutely no problem what ever the weather! No weird idle problems, nothing! This car drives perfectly!

Mileage: 159,000 (mostly Motorway).

She comes with following goodies!
- ABS
- TC
- Air con (Recently re-gassed)
- Heated front windscreen, rear windscreen, and side mirrors
- Adjustable steering wheel
- Pioneer DEH-P4900IB Stereo ( clicky )
- Pioneer TS-E136C Front Speakers ( clicky )
- Fli Active 12" Sub woofer ( clicky )
- 15" Alloy Wheels (standard Zetecs)
- Full security film tint (35% on the front, 90% on the rear)
- Smoked rear depo lights
- Smoked side indicators
- De-badged

** Will remove stereo, and sub woofer, and put standard speakers in lowering price to £2100.

Bad points:
It's got the usual age stuff, stone chips, few dings etc.
it's missing a front drivers side fog surround on the bumper.
Missing the small plastic trim that goes from the carpet to the door on the rear.

Again this car rides absolutely brilliantly, recently had new IC pipes put on as others had worn, had oil topped up, air con re gassed and anti-bacterial.

Any viewers welcome, I'm based in Warwick in the Midlands. Would prefer to sell to club first, so it's going up here before auto-trader. I bought this car same time last year with 153,000 on the clock, and no service history. Since then I have given this car a lot of time and attention. Also comes with HPI check I performed on it last year before buying.

Any questions feel free to ask, and here's some pretty pictures of her!

I said £600 as nobody is interested ATM and he would get £500 on trade in, so im sure if you beat that by a ton then he'll be better off.

If Pacman had affected us as kids we'd be running around in dark rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music.

Interesting... he's only done 6k in it during a year, I'll be pushing it more up to 20k a year!

Cheers though J, looks as if for the time being Im going to keep the megane and get a reconditioned engine, getting some positive feedback from another mechanic and that - putting more faith in it for me

If he dont sell i would be interested in beating the trade price!

Bro, i would say its a unique car and looks pretty god damn good. I would keep it and get the engine sorted if its cheap enough.
