i know you can get ridiculous power out of a 2 stroke 125cc but how? my nsr's unrestricted with about 14bhp. i'm gonna do my full test later this year and to save having to pay a fortune for the DA i was gonna do it in lessons and test then keep my bike while i build my dream sportsbike. but how can i make the ickle honda more powerful? i don't want to lose top end or acceleration by changing the sprockets.

NSRs aren't that fast at all for a 125 even when you mess about with them.

Try <!-- w --> www.adrenalin-pedstop.co.uk <!-- w --> they might have some stuff but seriously, they aren't that fast for a 125 :(

And it shouldnt be 14bhp Derestricted it should be 14bhp when restricted?!
I think theyre about 20-24bhp derestricted if I remember rightly.

Exhaust, up-jet, bigger carb, air filter, reed valves,ported polished, bigger head.. There's loads u can do mate.

Go for up-jet, carb, and carbon reedvalve first, or exhaust.

i'll deny it if officially approached but it'll do 87mph and i'm sure the limited version only does 60. if it IS the limited version i can't wait to let it loose. my mate with his cb600f is impressed with how fast it gets to 50, but kinda wheezes a bit after getting to 60 or so. handles the bends amazingly well though. i'll look into it when i get my test sorted. thinking the power to weight ratio of a 125kg 125cc bike with 25bhp compared to a 180kg 100bhp bike will be a bit more bearable then limiting the big bike to 33bhp. leaves me free to build my perfect thundercat too. ;)

next big question is: where can you get the bits from? i looked online for ages and can only find stuff for up to '98. mine's an '02 so not even sure if any of it will fit. anyone got any good reliable suppliers to suggest?

If it does 87 and wheezes once past 60 it is either restricted or in dire need of a new plug lol ;)
