just wondering whats allowed and whats not.
and does anyone know any places close that let you get away with a de-cat or will i definately have to buy a new exhaust just for m.o.t

tbh you will have to find a dodgy mot centre to pass a decat,as the emissions would probs be way out.

My Mechanic Passed my StraightThru exhaust... No bafles no whateva.. but supose it mite of been cuz its mee and he does everythink for mee lol

Its dependant on your engine and how well it runs, it your engine runs well and is clear you may get away with it obviously it will be harder with an old car. Smaller garages, none corporate tend to let you get away with things. Theres plenty round Lem!

He reckons we havent had a single staff members vehicle fail there yet, and trust me a hell of a lot of them have been abused shitters so its bound to pass! Make sure shes mighty clean though first as well

you wont pass your emissions with no cat. and if you dont pass your emmisions test then you fail.

You can pass with no cat, usually no problem at all! Depends what your car is running like.

yer what dan said. but on a car of that age (not sayin yours is a dirty old banger) it will probs need the cat to pass
