The convoy DID have several people knowing where to go that was spread out throughout the convoy, I also handed out cards with the postcode, backup postcode (which was incorrect with some peoples sat navs, was supplied by the organisers Im afraid), and instructions NOT TO GET OFF AT J14 on the M1, but J13 instead. We had around 100 cars at the coventry point, you cant expect that many cars to keep together with only several people knowing the location - there was simply too many cars.

I did a small later convoy and only just managed to keep all 7 cars with me doing 60-70 all the way, but managed to lose them at the last moment when someone in the convoy decided to go the wrong way. You cant blame the convoy leaders! Theres so much more to it than that!

Ok mate cheers - no worries. It was a learning curve for us - we didnt do too bad imo, 100 cars for a 1 hour drive, and I was kind enough to stop behind for late comers but that also meant one less convoy leader for the main convoy, which is why we wont wait in future so be warned!

You also have to bear in mind that we couldnt give out the location to everyone otherwise it would have been a race there, which is most likely wy it got shut down so quickly because a majority of people would of arrived alot earlier than what we were told to
