THE BIG ONE !!!

It was extremely disappointing, we were half hour away from getting there when the organisers told us to get there ASAP - but we couldnt get there any faster and was pretty much on time by the schedule they set for us even though I was with the gorup that decided to stay behind at the conventry convoy for late comers. The backup point we were given by the organisers didnt even register with our Sat Navs, and even the main convoy leader managed to quickly get on the internet and find the correct postcode and get there, but by the time me and afew others got there it was already blocked off by the police.

Unfortunately this is one of the risks with cruises these days, its out of our control, shame we drove an hour to get a reminder it happens! We ended up driving from place to place just to gather the remaining people that didnt manage to get in somewhere with a half decent turnout. Suddenly I love our monthly meets so much more!
