Want to get my rear/tail lights baked....anyone know any places around here? and pricing?

Youre asking for smoked/black mirror spray tint, baking is just part of the process to avoid clouding, add a better shine, and make it harden better
Nearest I can find on eBay is Shropshire, other than that its a difficult term to search for

I'd get Tint-Ed to just go darker, you happy with the finish? How glossy the current ones are?

RT-Performance use light tinting film, and their very high-end, has come up with some great finishes....

Just go darker

yes, thats what i want! those ones on celica-look perfect! Is light goes thru the ok tho? and where's RT performance based at?

Yep - I'd just get Tint-Ed to buy in some, I know its not normal window tint but RTP says "Its almost x3 thicker and heat resistant designed for lights."

Light output looks OK...

Only legality issues you could face (other than the level of light they let out) is for the rear ones the reflectors have to remain on show.

If on the 350z the reflectors are part of the main rear cluster then either leave them untinted like the ones on my car, or you can tint them and put some reflectors somewhere else on the rear. Up to you, it's not a huge thing but the police could take a disliking to it if you were pulled over for whatever reason, plus no rear reflectors should be an MOT failure.

With my tinted rears I did have to buy some uprated bulbs as the level of light let through just wasn't enough.

thanks for reply! i dunno...i think ill just ask Ed to use a bit darker film to what ive go now! there is a bloke on 350 owners club whos got then sprayed black/mirror efffect...had then for 2 years-never got pulled over and passed MOT as well... may be even that they are tinted-light still goes thru them from outside and reflects from reflectors? if that makes sense lol
