i wanted to do something different with my lights so i thought of getting these.....



yh i know i know, LEXUS! i dont like them either, but i was thinking of taking the plastic cover off, and spraying the shiny stuff red, like your average typical rear lights.

this is so that they look a bit like standard lights, but slightly different and unique, and obviously would get rid of the lexus style of them!

what do people think? and how hard do people think it would be to do?
i dont think it would be the easiest job, but i was thinking plastic primer, primer, paint......what about laquer? yes or no?

Quite a few have done this but not seen it on a fazzy. Do it, will look good imo.

yh i mite give it a go, am looking on ebay for some cheap 2nd hand ones 1st so i wont feel as bad if things go tits up!! lol

go for it , shouldn't be too hard , just take the cover off, mask the bits up that you dont want to get sprayed, then spray away
and i would say no about laquer not for lights anyway , maybay just two coats of primer and two coats of [color=#BF0000:1de4tl5t]red[/color:1de4tl5t]

yeh, and make sure you let the paint dry in between coats. don't be impatient like andy always is
