Debadging a Mk1 Punto. was created by Hodge
Does anyone know which badges on a Mk1 Punto are bolted on, in oppose to just being stuck on with adhesive?

I'm thinking of debadging the whole car (bonnet, wings, and boot), and am trying to find out how big a job it's going to be.

Cheers for any help,

Hodge :)

bonnet badge has pins mate so you'll need to fill them unforunatley

i think wings and boot are stuck on so use hot water and old credit card or top card to scrap off with damging paint work :)

yea front one just pop your bonnet and un bolt the others are just glued so soften it with a heat gun and start prising them off with a plastic tool or something clean of the glue remains with some solvent

says that in my step by step guide

Excellent - I think I'll just stick to the sides and the boot ones then. Thinking of putting on a couple of Abarth scorpions to replace the standard badges.

Just done it now:

The side ones came off easily, as they were just adhesive, and the marks polished out fairly well too - but the rear/boot badges were pinned, so I think I'll leave them.

Maybe it was something to do with my particular model of Punto? Perhaps it was making reference to another one in the guide?

Thanks for all the help anyway  !
