Im currently Insured by Adrian Flux & have been for 4 years i moved over to them when i started modifying my bmw, no problems but i would like to shop around next time to see if I'm getting a fair deal.
I did this every year before i was modified which was nice & easy.
Who do you use for modified insurance & would recommend.

Im currently with Green Insurance which is a broker (the actual policy is with MarkerStudy), definitely recommend them
Been with Brent Acre previously who were also pretty competitive, actual policy was with Highway (sub-company of LV Liverpool Victoria)
I also hear good things about Sky Insurance (although Ive never had a cheap quote from them personally)
Would definitely recommended shopping around every year, its not often that the renewal is as cheap as it could be - they probably figured not many people check or compare!
If you keep throwing prices back and fourth between the companies with quotes for them to beat you can easily knock off £50-150.00 on an already given qoute - even on a £600 policy thats a hefty percentage! Some companies don't provide printed or written quotations so if you wanted you could just make up a figure for someone else to beat <!-- s:whistle: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/innocent0009.gif" alt="

Only downside to these brokers Ive found is out of hours contact, unlike a larger and more expensive company like Direct Line, these brokers are purely Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, then a couple of hours on Saturday maybe! Also changes to the policy can cost you, and the features of the insurance isnt as extensive - it covers the basics - but you wont be pampered!

Sky are a sponsor on the bmw forum but i've heard mixed reviews.
Ye i used to save loads every year when i used confused.com & comparethe market.com but the only reason i haven't shopped around is cause of the ball ache of realing off all my mods every time, but i think next time i'll put in the effort to save me some £

OK, how about this feedback received recently -
· I think £380 fully comp for a 350 bhp turbo fully modified and only 4 years no claims says it all? I would definitely recommend these, Ive got both me and the Mrs insured with Prestige. David Moses, Modified Honda’s UK.
· These dudes insured my brothers s2000. He's over the moon. kahn_v, S2KI forum.
· Good insurance company guys got my 2 insured with them. No problems with all the stuff on the 33 either. Smiffy, Sportsalfa.com.
· Just to say Prestige have been excellent with me and were by far and away the cheapest. I'll definitely be calling them in about a month to do my renewal...I for one highly recommend them. xBigVernx, Minitorque.
· i've been a staunch advocate of these guys since i got my cracking deal on insurance earlier this year!! declared all the little mods i have etc and undercut everyone by at least 30%!!!!!! well done guys. Monkeyboyuk, Audi Owners Club.
· 1 phone call , 1quote,1 happy customer, give them a ring. foggielee, Minitorque.
· Got mine sorted today. All mods declared really good service many thanks to prestige. Sandman, Club Lupo.
· Yes im with you good prices. Gaz Kenyon, Focus ST Owners (Official page)/Facebook.
· Ok looking good so far, think i'll be taking up a policy with these at the end of the month. Gareth Binding, VPCUK.
· You will hopefully be getting a call back tomorrow once I've cleared some money in the bank, managed to beat my current provider by £100. PM - I will also say the bloke I spoke to about the bmw was a great help. Tiger1983, Saxperience.
