Removing the rear window wiper creates a smooth flush look for most cars, heres a quick guide on how its done with this particular model, a megane coupe, so hopefully help you out whatever you drive!

Tools: Socket set (13mm/10mm), Pliers/Wrench
Materials: Grommet (25mm or 32mm(ish)
Estimated Time: 15 minutes

First step is to simply pull back the cover on the wiper, underneath is a 10mm bolt that needs to be removed

Now the next step is a little trickier, the wiper is now held on by a simple groved section instead but it doesnt come of very easily. First soak it in some WD40 or similar, then get some pliers or similar using cloth round the teeth of the pliers if you do not want to damage this section although it is covered! At the same time as twisting slightly the section away from the window and with a bit of brute force t should come away

Next step is to lift the over underneath (ignore the fact that the wiper is still on, this photo was taken before hand) and you will find another bolt, use pliers etc. again to turn this and take it off

Now underneath from the boot, simple discconnect the wiper (red circle) and then under the two 10mm bolts holding the motor to the car (green circle) and now the whole motor should easily come away leaving you with a hole in your window where it previously was.

Theres 2 options here, one, consider the 'bodge job', is to buy a 25mm grommet and place this into the hole BUT this requires a rubber ring left from the installation of the wiper. Two, the neater option, is again to buy a grommet/sealing plug but for the correct size of the window hole which is 33/34mm (best looking fit so far on Maplins see below)

TIPS: Buy some rain repellent to help you see out of the window during bad weather etc, the rain will simplt roll straight off!
