ROVER Tomcat possibly sold

Right im selling on behalf of my mate who bought this car for £1100 about 7 months ago. its a1996 i believe on a "p" plate its in green and its in quite good condition the bodywork itself is mint, has the rover alloys on it. has the bonnet buldge foglights and spoiler from a tomcat to give it a meaner look. it has a cream leather interior with black trim. it has the "T" top roof so you can take that off for the summer and go on a nice drive. the car has has an airfilter and full scorpian exhaust on. it give a very nice deep sound as you boot it but not overly loud. its a very quick car for a 1.6 to be honest is as quick as my golf but thats becuase mines heavy. ha.

it has MOT till august but has no tax on it. the car just needs some TLC as it wasnt used alot by my friend who drove it for a month then couldnt afford the insurance as he went to uni. itdoes run and drive very nicely still but has a two problems, the main one being that the gearbox whines abit and this could be due to gearbox bearings or something. butit has covered lots of miles like that and doesnt show signs of letting up anytime soon. a gearbox is about £40 for these. the only other thing is that the brakes seem to be not functioning correcty, i think this is because it has been sat for a while and they have part ceased but i dont think this is a hard job atall...

we cleaned ittoday and took it up the road and its still rareing to be on the road.

looking for £650 for the car. i have some pictures there not great as it was of my old car but ill try get more..

andy, where else have you advertised this? it's a class car. someone will buy it. pistonheads? fleabay? put in the paper?
