Hybrid Turbo Help

Iv just bought a replacement turbo for mine (think mine is on the way out and this was cheap!)

its a garrett gt15 and i was interested in getting the internals changed to that of a gt17

anybody know where i could get a quote for this? any ideas how much?

any other advice on hybrids etc.?

I approached him about modifying the tiny turbo on my smart forfour and he seemed very positive.
Like my car the gt15 is not often modified. Have you thought about researching the compatibility of a gt17 turbo?

I recently purchased an 81 turbo, the turbo was removed but I have all the parts I think for it. I did get a turbo PDF that may be of help to you from another 81 turbo owner that is still running the turbo. PM me and Ill send you the file, I believe there are some wiring/electrical diagrams in it. Ill look through my files and see if there is anything else I can send you.

I may still have some of the wiring since its an original owner car and I dont think the harness was changed.
