ECU upgrade was created by punchy
After looking at standalone ECU's that replace the factory ECU, and piggyback systems (Greddy E-manage ultimate). Researching the benefits and cost (new & old) plus mapping. I've found as a Nissan owner i can get a nistune daughter-board which when fitted will turn my stock ECU into a fully programmable standardalone system!. Which after mapping the complete price would be half the cost of the other 2options!, Fusion (Nissan tuning specialists) a must have for GTIR, Silvia & 200SX owners!.

At the point now where increases cost at least £400-500. The ECU work is £400, but a real bargain. But i dont know if i wanna start throwing big $$$ at it. Reckon i'll just aim for 350HP, the most the stock engine can manage safely. ECU if lucky will give me +30HP (340HP)with hi-lift cams as im having remapping done. Can't do much more with the stock engine-turbo!!!.
