A Track preppared Suzuki ignis that competes down in championships down in south west- has had Suzuki GSXR throttle bodies fitted, not sure if they were the 600 or 1000 model. He bought them for peanuts, brand new off ebay and were fitted in no time.

Im sure you could do down the same route with the Yaris. Maybe some other brand of motorbike throttle bodies will fit your yaris? Just an idea if your definately going down this route. If bike ones will work, then it might save you alot in expensive parts specifically for the yaris

:)

lots of people go down the route of adapting bike throttle bodies to cars,they seem to be quite simple to convert,esp if its a smaller engine.lots use yammy r1 ,or suzi gixer bodies.

TEAM-P FTW!!!!!

there is a place in fen end called rogue motorsport that specialise in mr2 and bigger power cars, so its worth going to see them. They are right next to the prodrive test plant.

just get some bike TBs, and get someone with a welder to make you an adapter plate or a new inlet mani to match them.

its going to end up costing you a fortune once youve got the standalone ECU and forked out for mapping.

your looking at over £1k just for the ECU, as youll need one with a VVT-i controller.

Just drop a celica VVTL-i engine in it, 190bhp, 8500rpm, and a lot cheaper <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt=";-)" title="Wink" /><!-- s;-) -->
