bllody pipe has split again. its really doin my nut. really considering another option ie mini bike filter...

yer still mugging me off...
it was so cold outside tonight that the rubber reducer i was using to seal the pipe on my tb went rock solid and contracted!
also found puncture holes further down the ducting...
need to cut away some plastic that is in the way that keeps digging into the pipe
but got aluminium tape to reinforce it all where its damaged... and the tape is bloody genius...
stresssss!

finally fixed the fooker i think! aluminium tape wrapped on all the offending parts! that stuff if just genius!
and a bloke from across the road lent me a well good underbonnet lamp. what a mate! think he's into his cars as well... got a retro jetta with wide wheels

well induction seems to still be in place. can sort of hear whistling air sound... might be from the filter or a slight gap next to the TB, but i felt with a feeler gauge underneath and didnt seem to be a gap... but its not fallen off, so im leaving it alone for now!!

right im actually thinking of taking the induction kit back on and plugging the air box back in... possibly with a panel filter
the cone is a bit of a hassle tbh, and not sure if its doin my car any good...

now that my ebay is back up and working, tempted by the mini bike filter, cos i do love the roar from the cone...

right well the aluminium pipe pretty much fell apart!
so cut my losses, and bought the motorbike filter to go slap bang on the throttle body
