Me and my Dad are looking to start our own car valeting business.
Now, you're probably sat thinking to yourself, "not another valeting business", but that's where we're different.
I've been independently valeting for over 6 years now, which, considering I'm 19, is quite some time.
I've had 2 full time valeting jobs, both for dealerships, and at one, I was given the job of preparing a car for the Time Attack UK series.
My Dad has been valeting his own car to an incredibly high standard for 25 years+.
With me wanting a new job, and him fancying a change, we've come together and would like to start out own valeting business.
We aren't calling ourself detailers, but the products, time taken, and our combined talent, will leave the car looking brand new.
The products we will be using range from Autoglym to Zymol, Meguiars to Swisswax.
We will be opperating in a van, with all the needed products, with our own soft water tank, and will turn up, and give your car a full rejuvination.
As with any new business, you can't always guarentee business, or know the costs.
I'm writing this, to see, A) Who would be interested in the service, and
How much would you pay, and what would you want for the price?
I hope you can all give your input, and let me know.
Many thanks,
Matt

tbf matt everyone and their brother are doing valeting at the moment i'll admit it I am doing it aswell.
i would never consider doing it as a full time occupation unless I could get a serious contract with someone ie a dealership etc
Alot of members on here would rather do it themselves then pay you to do it.

If you want your pride and joy covered in acid, caustic traffic film removers, and washed with a sponge contaminated with 20+ other cars grit and dirt in it to swirl and scratch up your paint to smithereens causing it to lose its gloss and shine very quickly, take it to the polish hand washers. Shine a bright torch on your paintwork when it's clean, or park under a street lamp at night and see the damage to your paintwork for yourself. You get what you pay for.
