Winter Preparation was created by Juicy jen
So what's everyone one doing for winter and are you all ready? Do you use your car as a regular or does it get tucked up nice and warm in the garage hiding away from the elements?
Me personally I've been using over the last few months Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 and Supernatural Hybrid over Colly like I did last year as the hybrid just gives it a bit more bling factor without the loss of durability.
So let's here what your doing?

I'm not to keen on bra's either (ooo so many comments could come from that lol) as they can damage the paint so easy especially the softer paints.
Ideally the process that you should be looking at is to strip off everything that you may have on the car and prepare the surface properly before applying a durable wax or sealant. Something like this:
Pre wash using snow foam and lance connected to a pressure washer (on a dry car)
Rinse
Wash using the 2 bucket method, a decent lambswool wash mitt and shampoo
Rinse (do not dry)
Clay
Washing using 2bm again as above
Rinse
Dry using a Microfibre drying towel
Polish by machine or hand
Glaze (optional)
Protect - wax or sealant
My top last stage protection products as chemical guys jetseal 109; supernatural hybrid paste; or Collinite 476
Now depending on whether your looking to obtain a good shine with durability or just interested in durability will result in whic option you choose. I'd be looking to get a decent few coats on the car now before the weather hits as I'm sure it won't belong....make sure you don't do all the coats one after each other because it's won't cure properly.

If you just slap on a coat of something on the car you'll see that this will not only affect durability but also the end look result
