Swift sport AP brake upgrade

AP Racing, the world’s premier brake and clutch manufacturer, together with Co-ordSport, have developed a front big brake kit for use on the Suzuki Swift Sport. Supplied with a 2-piece disc, the kit will be available in black (CP7645-1000BG.G4) or in red (CP7645-1000R2.G4) from early January 2010.







The discs are 315mm x 22mm curved vain with 4 straight grooves for superior cooling and more braking power with superior fade resistance (OE - 275mm x 20mm straight vane). The 4 pot caliper is a new slim line version of the CP7635. The kit also includes braided hoses and AP Racing Formula DOT 5.1 brake fluid.



The kits have been designed to suit the Suzuki Swift Sport, and the RAYS G07WT wheels. The lightweight wheels are a 57Motorsport design, which have been achieving great success in Touring Car racing and were used by 2009 BTCC champion, Colin Turkington.







This kit is designed to fit under a 17” RAYS wheel and will not fit under the standard wheel. Other wheels may fit but it is a very tight package.



The first kits will be available through Co-ordSport early January 2010 with a retail price of £1,224.49+VAT.



Other kits are also under development for competition use, with different caliper and disc options. Subject to demand, parts will be made to adapt these kits to other Suzuki models (The Swift Sport has 5 bolt wheels, whereas some cars use 4 bolt fixings).
