EG:
1 = sub
2 = 6x9's
3 = front components
4 = rear components
If it were me I'd run the rear components on the same pre-out/amp as the 6x9's as you don't really need to seperate them out.
Unless of course you're looking at running in something like 5.1 surround, then the whole thing changes dramatically...

richie wrote: hmm yeah well i want to add another 2 subs but i cud run them of my 4 channel amp but there wont be as much power going through or i cud bridge them. Plus i got 2 6x9s and i want to get another 2 but id need to get another amp for that, but hopefully the way collins said by linking up the amps should work ill have to have a check if it has a direct out/audio out
Surely it'd make more sense to use one pre-out with all your subs? That way you can control them all from the head unit.
Chris suggested the easiest method - but this does require amps with the "link-up" or a low level "pass through" option. There's not many around that do that these days, other than those digital amplifiers that link with other models of the same type. There is another option - you can split the output of your RCA cable - even Halfords sell the bits to do that for a couple of quid. The downside to this method is that you'd need a healthy pre-out voltage in the first place - which means a good head unit. I'm assuming you've got one of those anyway as you're planning on amping your system this much
In any case, good luck - keep us updated and post some pics when it's done? Sounds like it's going to be pretty loud <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt="
