Suspension Knocking??

Anyone got any ideas why on accelerating round left handers my Focus is knocking from the left like a goodun?? Also happens when acceleration over small bumps, ie tescos bridge warwick ??? And before you ask, i mean just normal accelerating not manic foot down rubber eating silly stuff !!! I've had it up in a garage and found one right (os) bottom ball joint US, which meant a total bottom arm replacement but its still the same?? I have been told that it could poss be the top strut mounts/bearings, but there aint no crunching at all from lock to lock and no play in the wheels !!! Helpppppp !!

is ur car lowerd? mine knocks aswell (from the front) its cos the drop linkage has come loose. even if u tighten it, it will come loose again. it doesnt really matter tbh

nope not lowered yet, I did try changing the drop linkages, however had to give up as they are a barsteward to change as the nuts were as good as welded on and rounded as soon as i looked at em!! I will get em off, somehow !! as i've got two nice new ones sat in me boot waiting to be fitted !! I will keep u updated. Thanks for the help.

mmm less likely to be the drop linkage being loose then if ur car aint lowerd. not sure sorry

strut tops check the nut on the top to see if it has worked loose,
is it a rotational knock or just knock every now and again?

Only on bumps and cornering?? If I coast round a corner its fine or over a bump. It sounds like someones under there with a hammer and the wheel is loose, multiple knocking which can be felt thru the steering wheel? Bearings are fine, as are the track rod ends??

Sounds fairly simple, check the usual, top mounts, drop links suspension bushes, ball joints ect ect
