well i need something skinny so i dont scrub up when my car is down on the coillies
got 16x7J wheels, is 195 the narrowest width, need to have a stretched wall to get them under the arches...
does anyone make a 185/40R16 or a 195/35R16 ?
currently ive got 205/50 and they chunky as funk, will 195/40 give my dubbin' stretch?

195 on a 7j isnt much of a stretch at all tbh, i ran 195's on a 8j for a bit and it was barely stretched

was speaking to the fitters at hi-q and they said 195 would be suitable for 7 inch. he didnt mention any stretch, and doubt they would fi them if they thought they werent suitablereadie si wrote: Wouldnt recomend 185's n doubt they make them could get 205 35 or 40's stretching tyres is lethal more likley for the bead to pop off

195 wasnt mentioned in my last post as thats pretty much standard on a 7j rim, 205 is a more performance related width so your mor likley to find a lower profile in that size, worked at silverline and other tyre garages long enuff to know what im talking about <!-- s;-) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_wink.gif" alt="

lol wasnt arguing with you mate, got 205 already, and they too chunky, 185 too much stretch, so 195 the only logical choice
