Audio Visual (my setup)

Right,

Some people know i got a new TV for my birthday so over the past few days i have added bits to it

I have

Samsung 50" 3D TV (5 x 3D Glasses)
Samsung 3D Bluray Player
Sky HD box 1TB (Amstrad)
Pioneer VSX-520 Amplifier
Pioneer HS-110 speakers including Subwoofer
Playstation 3

All my cables are MONSTER cables HDMI cables were £80 each and £40 for the optical cable.
But if a uprated HDMI comes out i can send it to monster and they will replace it free of charge.

4 x MONSTER HDMI 1000EX cables (V 1.4 for 3D output/input)
1 x MONSTER 250DFO Optical Cable

To be honest now its like i have a mini cinema its awesome picture quality and the sound is epic.

I take it you have gold plates on your equipment as the reason for having stupidly expensive cables? or perhaps you are running them over a distance of more than 10m?

sorry i just hate it when people spend money on needless things saying that it would improve quality.

Yeah they are all gold plated but they are 1.4 cables with eithernet in them which i need because it allows 10+ mb's per second through them to play 3D.

You actually have gold plated sockets on the TV?

i havent actually checked the back of my TV but my amp has gold sockets on it.

But i have my Bluray, PS3 and Sky box all going to the Amp the one lead to my TV so i control virtually everything on my AMP.

I bought the cables mainly for the build quality Monster give and that if a higher spec cable comes out they will exchange it free of chrage

3D tv is such a waste

well i gotta 15'' screen and its prob a bout a foot in depth and channels 1-5 POW lol

it works it will do me i cant afford a new tv at the moment and ive never been arsed to plug my freeview box in,

3d tv's are cool for hardcore gaming
