I have seen the codex of the software and unless you already have DON'T download it there is a bug that disables your PSN activation link. Once you download it and turn your console off you cannot get back into the PSN to solve this you have to go online via your PC/Laptop onto your PSN account and link your PS3 but VERY confusing and to much to write.

Basically once downloaded no more multiplayer until IW sort there joke of a release patches out. I reckon I've got a dozen programers that can make a patch more worthy.

If you have had enough of MW2 and it's lame launch problems which arn't minor they are extremely large problems and have ruined evryones faith in their ability, then just delete the MW2 software from your PS3 and go back to COD 4. 5 of my mates booked the week off work for this and all have downloaded the patch and can't log into the PSN anymore.

Let us pay for the PSN and have a decent network like microsoft.

Load of BS

Online was broken due to too many people trying to play and thus PSN went into safety mode and rejected all COD connections, then started allowing 20k at a time iirc

PSN isnt broken though and it was only the MP servers down that gave people the impression that it was bugged

I downloaded the update and have been on since with no problems connecting to psn

Yeah I did see the comments towards the end of the topic saying it wasnt down to the patch.. couldnt be bothered to post every reply though or try and suss what was BS and what wasnt! Thats your job, PS3'ers!

was going to get MW2, but decided to save money for L4D2 coming ount next week. tempted to go to asda or tesco at midnight to get a copy.

sounds like MW2 is quite a decent game anyway, might need to borrow a copy of it.

i went to the midnight launch and i cant stop playing it.
havnt evan played the single player yet just been owning online.
my mate i play with hu lives in warwick is lvl 70 at this moment and ranked 1062 in the world. what a wanker
