This is a down to basics forum guide for anybody thats completely new to them. First of all, some definitions;
Forum: an area to meet for open discussion
Topic: A topic is a discussion started by a member to which you can add to by replying with your own post
Post: A single discussion/statement point made by either you or someone else, these can be as small as "LOL!" or as big as you like in a essay style post
POSTING A NEW TOPIC
To post a new topic, first find the relevant section your topic would apply, enter the area and click the "+ New Topic" button
Then write your title for your topic, and then the topic text itself
Once you have finished you can then click "Submit" towards the bottom of the page, or "Preview" to see what your topic looks like before you submit it
REPLYING TO A TOPIC
While your viewing the topic you wish to reply to, simply look for the buttom "Reply" and click on it. Then treat it in the same you would in posting your own topic but without a title
QUOTING A POST
You can quote a specific post on topics. This helps to give people an idea of what you are referring to when you make your comment.
On the post you wish to quote, look to the top-right corner and click the QUOTE button
Now the quote is displayed in your post reply box, simply add your comment to this underneath and then click Submit as you would with any other posting process
