Heres the convoy details for both Saturday AND Sunday!
CONVOY DETAILS
Shell (Total) Petrol Station, Southam
Banbury Road
Southam
Warwickshire, CV47 2BL
We could of convoyed from J1 in Rugby, but this may mix with the weekend traffic and other clubs from the same area. Then the convoy from the M40 Warwick southbound takes this route through Southam anyway
Time: 7:30am, leave for 7:40am (no later!)
TRAVEL TIME: 1hr 10minutes
OR MEET AT THE GATE
Pull up BEFORE the gate, you must be there for 8:50 (beating the convoy) to receive your pass

Don't have time to write reviews these days!
It was quiet, yes, but I think that was because a lot of clubs didnt turn up - wasnt your Ford Car Culture down as attending? A fine example of why the turnout wasn't as expected
I enjoyed myself still, being a quiet event meant you interacted with more people and met new faces too, so it was still a good laugh and interesting! It was more about the people around you, and because WM'ers are always a fine bunch it was all good
Only a couple of traders there but never really buy anything from them anyway, the drifting was epic and going constantly all day, track always seemed to have atleast something going round. Jumped in with Han and Rik at the end of the day for a drive round the track, was all good, two very different driving styles there Han with the speed and aggressive approach, Rik with the perfected lines and very fluid driving! Both we're great drivers though, but the track is tame compared to the 'ring!
The DJs and audio setup for the nightlife in my opinion was bang on, no commercial shite, just awesome tunes! Loud too, was vibrating the pit garages panels 20 odd metres away from the setup, the pit garages themselves were a unique setting - very apt for petrolheads . The letdown again was the numbers, which meant the atmosphere was a bit flat, other than that it had all the right ingredients!
Heres my pics from the event (Saturday only)

Pit garage photo-op!
Heres a video from MDB Images (skip to 50 seconds in, avoiding the strangely long intro):

So yes there you go, had great potential and the right approach, just let down by the turnout of cars and the traders

Thing is mate we didn't book a a spot, we registered interest initially but we couldn't sell 1 ticket so we pulled out and never booked, no point if no one is buying the tickets.
I think that ccuk marked out areas to show what clubs showed interest just to make it seem like it was going to be a lot busier than it actually was
But like you say it was good on a different level as people were interacting more which you never get at a large scale event
I've see some of the drifting Vids too that action looked awesome! and that never fails to entertain people
Shame they went for such a mahoosive venue as on a slightly smaller scale no one would have noticed
