Bit of an update,

I've been having issues with my boost solenoid, (no boost at all) so I took my ST down to the guys @ Pumabuild in Birmingham where they soon confirmed my suspicions that it was the boost solenoid, so they quickly replaced that along with the MAF and MAP sensors;

While I was there I I felt a burning hole appearing in my wallet and took the dive on some nice new performance mods :)

Now I'm already running a turbo back piper exhaust (decat), Radtec intercooler, K&N panel filter, Colin's DV, and mapped, it was time too loose my stage 2 performance and go straight for stage 3+

So after my ST was back to boosting properly, I thought I'd have my set of 440cc RS injectors fitted, they'd been sitting in my garage for a while while I saved enough pennies to have a new map on my car that would run them

As you can see they have the little orange collars on them and have 10 x holes in them rather than the green collared 4 x hole ST set up,

Now these greatly improve mid range and hold boost for a lot longer, compared to the standard injectors which have a tendency to drop of while boosting on a stage 3 set up

Here's a few pics of the install and finished article

Removing the plenum is essential to be able to get to the inlet manifold and fuel rail

Once fitted you can barely see their little orange collars

After that was done I wasn't finished there, I had been meaning to get round to changing my CAIS induction to a kit I've been after for a long while but the old money situation has been ever present and prohibiting me from doing so but not anymore;

I have fitted a nice new shiny Dreamscience CAIS which gives amazing turbo chatter now :)

Once this was done it was time to treat the ST to a full service, all the usual but instead of refitting some standard plugs I uprated them to RS ones

Finally it was time to remap the car and give all the new little tweaks a new lease of life in the way of a pumabuild map with RS injector software,

So its not been a cheap month but the results speak for themselves the car pulls like an absolute train now, really impressed with it, I thought It was quick before but its a completely different beaST altogether now

Bit of an update

Been faffing about the past few weeks with tackling the job of cleaning and customising my engine bay, so started off with a bloody good degrease and wash, before adding some conduit from boost junkies, they had a trade stand at ford fair and managed to pick myself up a reef old bargain of a orange conduit set for £12.50!! And it's the best £12.50 ever spent in my opinion!!

While I was doing that I've been having lengthy discussions with Sean at hydra graphics on which way to go on dipping my engine plastics ie, rocker cover, slam panel, battery cover, fuse box cover and side rails

Now I wanted to come up with something different to all the other EO ST's out there that have gone with the generic orange and black plastics, but I still wanted the bay to look clean and not look too hectic with some crazy pattern so I took the plunge and went for this..

Now Sean had to order in a special ghost white carbon film in to get the subtle carbon effect as his normal silver carbon was too dark when spraying the white pearl finish, it made the plastics look grey which I wasn't after.

So all well and good at the moment, I should have my engine set back to me by the end of next week the latest, ill post some more pics when done

**Update**

Fitted the first part of my hydra dipped engine set today;

Was a bit of a pain in the arse as I had to take my induction top pipe off and re-aligning it was a bit of a ball ache but get there on the end

Manufactured some headlight covers too which will be dipped in the same white carbon fibre effect

The bay is looking a tad bit sorry for its self at the moment as my slam panel, battery cover and fuse box cover are all being dipped at the moment,

Once they are all back and in place it will be time to fit an upgraded silicone hose kit and updated hard boost pipes and some autospecialist blingery :)

Best bet buddy is to contact the guy who done them for me, he's got a Facebook page by the name of "Hydra Graphics" send him a message on there for a quote. He mainly deals with fords though pal but maybe still worth a message :)
