oops lol erm well mot is out and so is the tax so its in for an MOT friday and ill tax it friday but ill just park it up on the drive till the new tax disc arrives im far to lazy to drive or walk to the post office to get one there and then,

What made you change your mind on the colour? That's an expensive change of heart?!!! Resprays aren't exactly cheap.

wasnt my idea on the paint colour change plus the paint job hasnt actually cost me anything this time round. quick summary of how/why its come about.

I picked the car up about the 4th of July this year after 4 and abit months having all the work carried out, was problems along the way then the need for me to order parts then i was chopping and changing my mind on colours etc....

Anyway cause of the colour it was HOK Honey neon is literally a day glow orange you think dyno rod it was more in your face than those vans, being the brightness it was the UV from the sunlight killed the colour it started going yellow in certain areas you wouldn't of known if it was meant to be like it or not unless you looked long and hard I even had it mistaken for that paint that changes from angles and so.

I had to take the car into the bodyshop end of august due to cracking the front bumper on a silly high kerb on a hill mentioned about the paint when it was there and even the guys at the bodyshop wern't impressed with how its turned out bare in mind a case of 7 weeks....So they got HOK involved and thus sent out one of there reps to see the car and go back to wherever and discuss all came out that you shouldnt paint a whole car in that colour bodyshop argued the case and got re inburst on the costs so they got there money back from the paint/materials meaning I get a cost free new paint job

once this was all done and sorted the hassle of choosing a colour began once again it took me about 2 weeks to decide i even took home the 7 colour charts from the bodyshop to mull over a weekend and came to the conclusion i didnt like them, the thing with having the orange i literally loved it i still do. They did say originally they wouldnt do it that orange again but then me struggling to choose said if I want it doing they will do it again but if it goes the way it did next time would be it id have to deal with it, It was tempting but thinking how it went in 7 weeks and thinking what it would be like in a year I decided to change the colour all together, they did also mention one night another paint rep went in not cause of my car but said it shouldnt of gone how it did and put his money on that it was just a bad batch of paint had i of taken longer to choose paint i would of knew this but by the time i found out my new colour was on order.

All ill say is the orange may come back another time. it certainly grabbed attention and will be missed but onwards and upwards so they say.

Yea tell me about it well it may be off to plush automotive some point next year for the next stage ive worked out this year since 1st of jan the cars actually been on the road 11 weeks to date.
