Offer!!! Car-Skin CS12 Sealant was created by Crystal Clear

CS12 is a paint sealant designed to be used after the surface has been prepared with Deep Clean. It provides at least 12 months protection for the paint from all sorts of environmental hazards, such as bird lime. It will resist chemical etching from tree sap and make it much harder for dirt and tar to stick to the paint surface – thus making it easier to clean. It will also resist detergent shampoos, so you can shampoo the car to remove any dirt without reducing the protection offered by CS12.

When combined with Deep Clean, CS12 will restore faded colour, remove oxidised paint, old polish and subsequent swirl marks and holograming. CS12 uses a polymer shield that chemically sets with paint once it has been treated with Deep Clean.

“…products were tried as per the instructions with amazing results. The products worked extremely well on the paintwork, chrome and rubber of my MGB GT giving a very high shine but it is the protection that is the best part of these products: I have suffered paint damage caused by bird 'muck' in the past but now the dreaded 'muck' pushes off like a small cow pat with a glossy underside leaving the paintwork completely free of any blemish. Other benefits of Car Skin include the obvious protection against water which quickly forms beads the size of large granules and then run off and dries without leaving streaks.” Richard Marston, Oxford

CS12 is available in 100ml and 250ml, while a marine alternative for GRP hulls is available in larger volumes. It can be used by hand or machine using a soft pad or polishing mop. It is very easy to use, the key is to be methodical treating each panel at a time, and giving the correct amount of time to cure. Remove it too early and the full protection potential will not be reached, leave it too long and it will take longer to remove the excess and buff the car. Apply generously to a micro fibre and work into the body work panel by panel, ensuring to reach all the edges, opening doors, bonnets, and boots as required. Then wait three to four minutes for the product to cure.

Treat the car away from direct sunlight and make sure the metal of the car is cool to the touch. In warmer climates where the ambient temperature is above 18-20 degrees, reduce the cure time down to two too two and a half minutes. The chemical reaction occurs faster the higher the temperature, hence the difference in cure times. If treating a car in an ambient temperature less than 7 degrees, it may need an extra 30-60 seconds. It is normally possible to see if the product has set correctly.
