Yeah got it working, had disconnected it at the battery and forgot 
Bring your ipod Ed, and anyone else for that matter, as the mix is only half hour long and people might get bored of it! Plus the mp3 player I have is crap, so may bring my laptop and that only lasts an hour <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="

worked wewll that night, i was impressed
although my headunit doesnt just operate on am/fm... it has fm1 fm2 and fm3, so it took a while to actually find the WM channel lol!!
