Gettin it mapped may, maynot make a difference and can cost a vary of prices but can make a nice difference its just reprogramming the ECU to give you better throttle performance, adjusts the fuel etc...

Best mod to get more power - sell all the bits you've bought for it, sell the car and buy a 1.8t with the cash - with prices of a4's atm the bits you've spent cash on would be more than the difference between the price of a 1.8 and a 1.8t...

Sorry to be a killjoy but its the sensible way of thinking and will return more power per £ than any other suggestion

Yeah good call ghost....sell it and buy a turbo 1.8 or a 2.0 or even a 3.0 or save lots of money cos audi tune parts are very expensive.....good stuff that is..

don't bother remapping an N/A engine(unless on TB's)you will get about 5bhp for about 300 quid
best thing to do to get bit more power is a nice 4 branch exhaust manifold, bin the cat and get a decent full system and a good cold air feed to the k&n. gets very expensive after that

dont buy neons for a start.lol.remap as said would be pretty pointless.and as some have said,it may be worth leaving as is and saving for either a bigger engine or a bigger bhp standard car,sorry to be a killjoy
