Powder coated engine covers

Dropped my engine covers off to to Bournes Powder Coaters last week, and went to pick them up today. I'm really pleased with how they've turned out!

They were stripped down and then given a silver base coat with a red top coat. In the sunlight they look stunning with a slight metal fleck in them. The pics dont really do them justice as my camera cant really pick up the colour that great but anyway:











On a side note, does anyone know where I can get a piece of metal cut to size and also a place that can do custom engraving? I want to replace the plaque that goes on the coilpack cover.

Will do. Just waiting on some new cam cover gaskets and a CAS gasket.

erm... i'll ask around for you mate theres a lad on another site who loves his chrome and he gets all his custom done so will ask him for ya

theres metal fabricators on nelson lane in warwick, how much did powder coating it set you back im thinking of doing smthing similar myself

@readie si- it cost £60 for all four pieces to be done which I think was a good price. Can I ask whereabouts the fabricators are and also do you know their name? I also think I drove past you on Saturday on my way back from picking them up. You have a wide arch focus- the same as in your sig right?

thats snd gd im say about 20 .. 25 for mi rocker cover , if i was 2 take mine off wud i have to replace the gasket .. ? lol
